HOW WE GOT STARTED
I started growing as a father son project using bottled synthetic nutrients to grow medicinal herbs to help me get through my medical treatments. Using bottled synthetic nutrients was such a headache for years and expensive to boot. I was in the garden center every other week spending money on Ph pens, Ppm meters and all the extra additives needed to nurture a successful garden. My son & I knew there had to be a better cost effective way.

SEED SPROUTED TEA (SST)
Sprouted seed tea, or SST, is a variation of compost tea that is made from a collection of seeds that sprout after being soaked. Sprouted seed teas are starting to gain popularity with probiotic farmers who use them as a natural plant growth hormone source. Check out how I make my SST and what seeds work best for my needs.
FERMENTED FRUIT JUICE (FFJ)
Fermented fruit juice, also known as FFJ, acts as an organic fertilizer for plants and gardens. This liquid increases nutrients in the soil and therefore in the plants growing in it. This concoction can be made at home from many common fruits and costs far less than purchasing organic liquid fertilizers.
ORIENTAL HERBAL NUTRIENT (OHN)
Each year IÂ make a new batch of OHN. I use different herbs sometimes depending what I can source easily. This year I used cinnamon bark, tumeric, rosemary, ginger, basil, and garlic. It has antifungal properties & helps increase plant robustness. Also repels many unwanted pests. Then it discourages the growth of anaerobic microbes but at the same time encourages beneficial microbes in the soil &Â also on the plants.
